Doug is trained in lighting and composition by a recognized master of photographic arts, Robert Cantelon. He was both the key editor and cinematographer on The Vanishing Ice, The Emerald Thread (Riverkeeper) and multiple other pieces. As a licensed and certified ski mountaineering, back country, and cave guide/naturalist, his expertise allows for filming from some very spectacular vantage points.
